I must say that Bill Pollock, the publisher, put together one amazing team. I've grown somewhat choosy in terms of what I want from a copy editorsomeone who can fix my grammar, spelling, and language, yet with a light touch that does not interfere with the style I've adopted for a given chapter. Lunaea Hougland did a great job in this respect and was backstopped nicely by Chris Sabooni, the proofreader. Thanks also to Lori Ash, who worked on the initial phase of the project. Carol Lombardi was the project manager and my primary contact. Her eye for quality and polite way in which she encouraged me to keep to the schedule made her everything I could ask for in a project manager. Derek Yee handled the composition and rendered my graphics, managing to make them look nice while keeping the precision necessary to maintain accuracy. |
